Using humor to grill shady grocery practices.

bigg’s was a local chain of discount grocery stores. Their strategy was simple: lowest prices. No hi-lo pricing. No loyalty card needed. We did receipt comparisons ads and snazzy TV, but these cartoons told the whole story with an irresistable hook.

Everyone loves to read the comics. Tom Holtkamp, a well-known local cartoonist, drew these and gave them that true Sunday funnies look.
