Describing a New Item on the iPad Menu
Spoken AAC is a technology startup named for its groundbreaking app. The Spoken app for iPad and Android tablets is similar to autocomplete on your phone, except it suggests both words and phrases.
Stroke victims and other people with speech disorders don't currently have a natural-language speech assistant to help them communicate. Spoken combines a tablet interface with massive cloud computing power to predict the words and phrases a user wants to communicate. The tablet then speaks in natural-language sentences.
I worked closely with Spoken AAC partner Michael Bond to develop concise, informative, persuasive copy to implant the value of, and desire for, Spoken in visitors' minds.
